Jeanneau Cap Camarat 12.5 WA
This 40-foot boat has a multi-mission attitude: a versatile layout above and a lower deck that combines ingenious and comfortable overnight space. All of this stems from the brilliant collaboration of Sarrazin Design, the performance specialists at Michael Peters Design, and Jeanneau’s experienced design staff.
The Cap Camarat 12.5 WA features a unique hull with high-end infusion technology. The reinforcements and hull are molded as a single piece, providing more fiberglass and less resin. With a 21-degree deadrise at the stern, the deep-V hull design has a sharp entry, two lifting grooves, and a spray-reducing chine that extends the full length of the hull, providing predictable handling and exceptional comfort in a wide range of conditions.
The double cabins on the main deck, forward and aft of the helm console protected by the hardtop, offer flexible seating, sunbathing, and dining options for those who value life on the water in an open-air setting. A wide pass-through deck to port leads to the forward cabin, which offers elevated triple chaise lounge seating facing forward with additional seating in the bow. Options such as a portable table and a filler cushion reimagine the forward cabin as a private sunbathing platform.
Upon boarding, there’s easy access through the starboard-side entry door. The aft cabin is packed with imaginative features, including a spacious L-shaped lounge with a rear seat backrest that folds back to form a comfortable sunbathing platform, and a fiberglass table on removable legs. Flip a switch to reveal the portside electric fold-down sundeck, increasing the entertaining space. A remote-controlled SureShade awning can be added as an option for complete sun protection.
